I was walking past the St Paul's junior choir school at 'turning out time' today and was cheered by the sight of the children emerging to meet their waiting mothers with a daffodil each.It was a very welcome sign that spring is nearly on the way!
However, given the very chill wind, a bunch of leeks to make a nice warming stew might have been more appropriate.
