A real treat is in store for anyone who can get along to Acton Church at 2.30 p.m. on Sunday 24th October.
Brendan Brackenburey, colourful local eccentric and talented organist, will be giving a recital on that afternoon. Anyone who has been to a service at Acton, and has heard him play, knows that Brendan scores way above average among the ranks of church organists. He studied at Trinity College, London and is currently an Associate of the London College of Music.
The programme will include works by Elgar, Handel, Bach and Vaughan Williams. There is no admission charge but there will be a retiring collection to be divided between Acton Church Fabric Fund and Parkinson’s UK research.
