The developers of the new Health
Centre off Church Field Road, Chilton, are clearly keen to keep in touch with
the community and to maintain a safe and clean site. I set out below their recent newsletter to
residents.
I wonder if their next door neighbours will show similar consideration
when the ‘Prolog Site’ is eventually built out?
Not much sign of community spirit to date from that direction, but we can only hope..
Newsletter from Galliford Try
A majority of the building
drainage works have been completed. Erection of the steel frame has now commenced and should be
completed early September. The ground works to the main car park are underway, the ground levels are
being reduced and drainage installed. Ready to accept the road formation.
We will continue to keep the
main roads clean and reduce delivery vehicles waiting on the main road.
We understand that our
construction activities often give some cause for concern relating to traffic
movements, we are committed to
minimizing these effects and becoming a positive part of the community and
assure you we are monitoring this closely to ensure this does not impact the
neighbouring residents and local community.
If you would like to discuss any
elements of the works at Sudbury Community Health Centre, please do nothesitate
to contact us on the numbers provided on the back of this newsletter, or
alternatively drop in for acup of tea and a chat.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that a construction
site can be a dangerousenvironment. Therefore we would ask you to reiterate to
your children about the dangers of scaling the boundary
hoarding and entering the sites generally.
We would also like to remind you that
GallifordTry take all issues concerning health, safety and the
environment as well as the welfare of the
local residents with the utmost importance.
Kind Regards
