Great Waldingfield Parish Council is to create a Bee and Butterfly Conservation area on part of the grass area opposite the Bowls Club. Great Waldingfield is very fortunate to have George Millins as a resident as he is happy to manage the project on the council's behalf. I met George last week when he came to bring along some bee and butterfly friendly plants for our non cut grassed area and I know that he is very excited about the project. I hope it will be an example of good practice to other communities in Babergh and beyond.
If you would like to find out what the plan entails, offer support or
wish to be part of this ongoing project then come down to:
Great Waldingfield
Village Hall
on Monday 18th November
at 7pm
and hear George update you. Whilst the weather may
be cold, the Village Hall will be warm and welcoming with refreshments for those of you who attend.
