In the wonderful surroundings of Little Waldingfield Church (one of the real hidden gems of Suffolk) the Society will be hosting 'Ancestral Anglia', presented by Suffolk's Ancestral voices. This, I understand, is a unique programme of words, images and music which, it is promised, 'brings the past to the present'.
The period covered will be from the beginning of the sixteenth century to the beginning of the 1700's. and the programme will illustrate the rich historical heritage of our region as seen through the eyes of contemporary travellers.
The event will take place at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday 14th May. There will be a licenced bar for interval drinks. Tickets priced at £4 for non members and £2 for members of the Society can be purchased from Diana Langford on 01787 248298 or Sue Sheppard on 01787 247980.
