A knight and
his Lady have lain on a tomb in Chilton Church for over 500 years, so long that
even the graffiti dates back centuries. Church
Trustee, Val Herbert, will be telling the fascinating story of the monument on
Sunday 4 May at 3.30 p.m., when St Mary’s is open for the day.
The Church
near Sudbury will be open this summer from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the first
Sunday of each month with talks at the same time on most afternoons.
