We are lucky enough to be spending Easter at the seaside.
We are still in Suffolk (of course!), in Felixstowe, which continues to enjoy newly restored sandy beaches and a much improved sea front.
I was up and about early with Rendle the Lurcher this morning, the sun was shining, and the sea front was already alive with activity! The ice cream man was busy setting up his van in anticipation of a flood of visitors later today, and parents with insomniac children were already huddled behind windbrakes on the beach.
The most impressive sight was a group of people preparing for their traditional Good Friday swim! I am sorry to say that I left my camera at home, so cannot record these brave souls on the website.
I hope that all readers of the blog will have a restful and happy Easter break.
